While on Earth we have forgotten how small we are in this universe. We have forgotten that once upon a time we were bright stars in the sky that gave onlookers hope as they prayed for strength. We also have forgotten that we are the very thread that God used to build all that we know...
Our life has a bigger purpose than meets the eye. I do believe that while on this Earth we must make the most of all that we know in life. Making the most of falling in love and heartbreak, laughing until you cry or crying until you laugh, also winning and losing...
Loving someone is eternal and timeless; it never dies. Simply stated loving an individual outweighs any of our worldly possessions or any grudge that we hold near and dear to our heart. Again we are just a part of a whole. Love becomes that glue that bonds us to the next person, so therefore yes it is hard when people die, but it is essential to the birth. Out of the the dreariness of Death comes the beauty of birth...
This entry is inspired by the sudden death of my neighbor who will remain nameless. She was a breast cancer survivor, but her soul was tired. Her duties as a mother and soon to be wife were cut short, because God wanted her to rest for once in her life. She was a simple woman who didn't ask for much,and only wanted the best for her family even while death visited her the first time. I send a prayer for her family in their time of grievance...
In closing, I am a firm believer that we don't die, our energies are just transferred to another form. Erykah Badu said it best in 'Next Lifetime', "Maybe we will be butterflies." Who knows, but what we should not do is fear death. Everyday is a celebration of life and it is our duty to live it to the fullest. Life is to short and to precious to waste on things we can't control.. My advice tell someone you love them and mean it...
